Atlantic Pacific Billy© is a sketch and improv troupe that takes their inspiration from movies and the actors, directors, themes, and references that go along with them. MovieProv© is Atlantic Pacific Billy’s unique brand of improv. They take the suggestion of an audience member’s favorite movie then reinterpret that movie on stage. In addition to regular shows at Dallas Comedy House, Atlantic Pacific Billy has performed MovieProv© at The Del Close Marathon (NYC), Out of Bounds Comedy Fest (Austin), The Dallas Comedy Festival (Dallas) and the Chicago Improv Festival (Chicago).
Cell Block Tango is a 3-man troupe formed in 2013 in Denton largely to participate in the College Improv Tournament for the University of North Texas. After winning the CIT Southwest Regional its members plan on continuing to compete for the laughs of their audience wherever they perform. Using a slow-burning but high energy style, they use love and teamwork to conquer the stage.
